2005’s RAW WWE Diva search winner Ashley Massaro is quite eager to prove to the world that she’s not only deserving of the opportunity to wrestle in the world’s “leader in sports entertainment“, but even worthy of a title shot at the Woman’s WWE Championship. Ashley is so adamant that she has put her body on the line to promote her match at this years upcoming WWE Wrestlemania 23 on Sunday, April 1st.

Ashley fractured her left fibula during a Women’s Royal Rumble on RAW February 20, 2006 because of what some critiques have claimed to be her inexperience and amateur wresting skills in the ring. After the devastating injury, Ashley was forced to make appearances on RAW only as her character, participating in skits with Divas like Mickie James and Trish Stratus to help facilitate the shows already existing “entertainment storyline“, and was prohibited from engage in any wresting for the next few months while she recovered.

When she was finally able to step back in the ring, WWE majority shareholder Vince McMahon moved her from the hot slot on Monday Night RAW to the less popular Friday Night SmackDown!. Many feel it was Vince’s opinion that Ashley wasn’t skilled enough to wrestle on WWE, but because she had such a strong fan base he had no other choice except to keep the diva sequestered on the Friday Night show.

Since her demotion to SmackDown! Massaro has been managing and working very closely with the Tag Team Champions Paul London and Brian Kendrick, and claims that she has learned allot from the pair gaining some much needed techniques and confidence in the ring.

So with her newly refined wresting skills, 8 months without a match to prepare, and a need to re-prove her self to her devoted fans, her apprehensive boss Vince, and the World she has since become newly acquainted with, Ashley “Stars” Massaro has stripped off her cloths and posed nude for Playboy magazine in an attempt to promote and gain attention toward her Wrestlemania 23 match.

April 1st will unquestionably be her biggest to match to date, she’ll be facing mean lean Melina for the WWE Women’s Title. Melina’s known for her ruthless methods, her evil ambitions, and her repugnant hatred for Playboy playmates. Also on the wrestling line up that night, billionaires Vince McMahon and Donald Trump have put their hair on the line on one bout, with the resulting loser forced to shave his head BALD on the spot.

Ashley disrobed for the magazine under the pseudonym Ryan McKenzie in January 2004, but with her punk attributed backwards hat and charismic piercings on, and her trademark Star tattoo not only on her in full view but literally plastered all over the set, fans of WWE and Massaro will be delighted that this appearance in Playboy is based off of Ashley Massaro’s own personally and real life WWE character.

During a “Falls Count Anywhere” Match for the Women’s Championship title combatants Mickie James and Melina found their way into the women’s locker room where a pissed off WWE diva Candice Michelle busted in wearing only a single white towel to cover her Playboy assets. After angering the defending Women’s Champion with commands to leave the ladies private quarters, Melinda ripped Candice’s coverings, exposing the playmates bare breast to all of the patrons in attendance, and a lucky few million in the
