Sarah Shahi Spices Up “Life”

Ex-Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader turn Hollywood actress Sarah Shahi is adding some sexy time to the second season of her new network television show, “Life”.

Producers of the hit NBC program wish to take advantage of Sarah’s natural beauty by changing her character’s librarian look from the first season and making her appearance more alluring in this season. Sarah tells TV Guide, “My hair is down! You will never see that bun again. We wanted to make the show a little sexier, a bit more fun. [Laughs] Next thing, a bikini.”

The 28 year old beauty is best known from her unforgettable portrayal of bi-sexual bad ass Carmen de la Pica Morales on Showtime’s original series “The L Word”. Sarah revealed that her stint on the lesbian drama was more then just awkward, “When I got to the set, I was introduced to Kate Moennig [who plays Shane], and then the director said, ‘OK, Kate, in this scene you’re [servicing] Sarah.’ I was like, ‘Oh, boy, I hope my mom never sees this.’”

Sarah’s character on “Life”, a skeptical, demanding cop named Dani Reese who is struggling with alcoholism, hasn’t gone that explicit yet but she has upped her sex-factor. In this week’s episode entitled “Evil… and his big brother Ziggy” Dani complies with her producer’s demands for a more provocative image by stripping down to a white tee and panties then straddling her co-star, “Grounded for Life” star Donal Logue. Sarah explains her character’s new relationship, “Captain Tidwell [Donal Logue] and Dani do get it on. She’s really surprised she’s taken by him. He says the most inappropriate things and has about 18 ex-wives.”

Luckily for us the action doesn’t stop there. Following Reese’s sexy show, she surprises Logue with a view of her completely nude in the hopes that it might suppress his habit of calling her “dude”. Sarah admits to TV Guide that she’s much like her character Dani when it comes to openly displaying her naked body in real life, “I walk around the house naked with the windows up and don’t even think about it. My mother’s a very liberal woman from Spain who taught me there’s no difference between your hand and your breast.”
